Why this project is important
The Business and Corporate Volunteering program is a great way for a business and its staff to connect and contribute to their community. The program is often seen as a key component of an organisations wellbeing programs and can improve staff morale, motivation and team spirit.
Key steps to make it happen
Volunteering SA&NT professionally manage the program, connecting businesses and corporates to not-for-profit organisations. They organise and administer all aspects of the program customised to the needs of both employer and employees.
Aurecon Adelaide, an engineering, design and advisory company, had previously registered with Volunteering SA&NT’s Business and Corporate Volunteering program for a team-based volunteering position. It didn’t take long for them to confirm their support to help out not-for-profit organisation Puddle Jumpers, when they called out for a hand with their Community Food Nights.
